Nature Notebook

This week we went to Mission Creek Park with our nature notebooks (sketch books) to capture the beautiful fall leaves.  It wasn't quite fall at the park so we got the green and yellow beginnings of fall and have agreed we will go back in a week or two to observe the difference.

Caleb didn't have a sketch book like the big girls so I popped in to the Dollar Store and for $1.50, he was a happy camper!

Love this photo of Caleb.  Taken with my new lens {50mm 1.8}.  His eyes are so sharp and the background is nice and blurred!  Caleb fell of his bike last week, in case you were wondering what is going on with his face.
